Thought I might start what might be an interesting thread:
Just a single photo of what's on your work bench today ?
(You can guess what it is if you want but post a photo of the product you're repairing too)
I'll start you off with this:
(Not my usual vintage but someone's gotta do it 😛😉)

I'd guess an early Japanese amp from c. 1971/2?
Onkyo maybe?
It was a Teleton SAQ206 amplifier - rare bit of kit, nothing (too) special, but of great sentimental value to the original owner (the guy who brought it in was that man)
A whole 8watts/channel

It's a board from Kevin Mount (KMTech on EBay) for a 3 way active filter with 3 or 4 LM3886 amps. It's intended to be mounted inside a speaker cabinet with a hole for the heatsink. I have put each in a box with another for the transformers. I have chosen component values for my Yamaha NS1000's.
Looks like Musical Fidelity,

(I think it was an M5si, it's been collected now so I can't confirm 100%, not a lot of amp for nearly 2k😱)
I'll put another up tomorrow
Yeah - I'm not too bad at recognizing Brit amps! Agree - not a lot of amp for the money, but then the dealers are taking 50% and that's the real cost adder in retail audio.
😀
(I knew the first one was an early Japanese amp from the construction method and the PCB. Pioneer also used to use that same silk screen method mirroring the copper tracks underneath)

Obscured brand 😉
That’s almost certainly a phono amp. I’m going to (wildly) guess Rega or Cambridge.

Don’t know, but I’m going to guess it’s Japanese. Perhaps a Sony or Pioneer?
Pure guess work. Looks nicely made.
