Yes, I think so . But this one excludes possible participiants who don't know where a hit was a one hit wonder and where it wasn't.
An example: In 1969 French singer Michel Polnareff had a worldwide (most probably) hit with his La poupée qui fait non. At least in Germany this was his only one, so we see him as a one hit wonder. Whereas in France and other French speaking countries he was a big selling star.

That's always the problem with this type of criteria.


The Soft Cell entry that's been removed is a case in point, in the US, where the poster was from, Tainted Love certainly was a one hit wonder.
