I hesitate to say this, but elsewhere here I pointed out that people here should read Wireless World articles about loudspeakers. Yes, those articles from the seventies. Where Siegfried Linkwitz explains the suspended mounting of KEF units…
Btw one should decouple the mid, as much as the bass.

Very aware of the Work KEF did on this. I’m sure that these guys are too. What’s interesting is that KEF hasn’t used this technique(That I’m aware of) for a very long time. I wonder why. It certainly isn’t due to expense.
I'm pretty sure that they're using this product, which is the same stuff Magico uses

Take the infamous 104.2: force cancelling woofers and mids with magnet assemblies mounted on the back of the mid enclosure. They sure took it further in Maidstone.Very aware of the Work KEF did on this. I’m sure that these guys are too. The "shockmount" driver isolation system is fascinating...

For my speakers I used something alike, a combination of Sylomer and Soundcare Superspike

I like them a lot, but I have a sweet spot for Accutons since I first heard them at shows.
They can project a 3D soundstage and are very revealing, so if there's something not 100% correct with the recording, DAC, amplifier, cabinet, damping, crossover, ... you will hear it.
Troels has a nice sound description about them.

Very cool. Thanks! I am always fascinated with Troels website. Your speakers look like they came out great from what I can see.
