I've been refreshing the Decware mini radials page waiting to grab a pair (in a non-wacky color), but in the meantime I'd be interested to see if anyone has something similar for sale. WTB a small footprint passive single driver full-range desktop setup with focus on nearfield imaging. DIY is okay if it's based on a well engineered plan set. Also open to desktop amps.

I have a last set of µFonkenPlus. Stock drivers by i will give them the preliminary treatments that help ameriolate the few issues with the driver. The ones on the bottom.

CHN-50 is quite good. Sort of a low end A5.2/3.
Tozzi is a less than stellar box, and a larger footprint than than the uFonkenPlus/uMar-KenPlus.
But great value if you need somehting cheap you can assemble with a screwdriver.

Great suggestions, it reminds me that there are kits available from Madisound and PE. Any opinions on these?

@planet10 - those dimensions are smaller than they look in the photo. I have to remind myself, it's not actually a loss of desk space, it's just transferring the space 231mm upward.

Another not great box, get the FF105wk. There are some easy tweaks to ameriolate their minor issues. Very similar to FF85wk, better bass, not quite as good from there up.

A bigger box, i put them in twice the volume as the uFonkenPlus/uMar-KenPlus.

Interesting, I played around with planars in my DIY days. Not sure if a 200hz crossover point will play well with my standing desk though. I'd still like to find a 2-way passive setup.
