be happy that they didn't sent bill for air they were breathing, while taking care of your shipment

Had a quick peek , it's tiny but cute.
No big badaboom boards for me neither (sorry the movie was on yesterday).

15 € for handling the totally automated process of getting the taxes of €42 from me, french postal services suck as hell

Thanks for the answer 🙂
I know this, I can find whatever fasteners I need right here at home.
I would smile and say thanks, but I got it covered, please donate any funds for shipping to one of the charities the thread was born for....
Granted, they said fasteners were included and all you needed was a couple tools and a soldering iron. Here's the thing from a slightly happy single malt point of view... You have a huge gift, don't sweat the small schtuff.
I sure as hell would not waste all the cash to ship hardware from overseas rather give it to the cause.

Can the filter board be used to other FW amps such as M2 or F6?
Using 2 boards for both rails to power lower voltage such as 24vdc.
Then of course dual rail SMPS.

Not really. The VFET filter board is designed to clean up SMPS switching noise, roughly 70 kHz to 100 kHz for the Meanwell units.

I am planning to do so soon, but take good care to use an "ISOLATED" SMPS only, that ones could be put in series.
The better SMPS units do have this information in the datasheet (like TRACO for instance).
It's NOT possible with the unit used here!
EDIT: As the question is somewhat off-topic I suggest to look for a thread that talks about this or open one, you are not "alone" with that question for sure...

42 certainly has significance, but #23 would be "THE chassis” number i’d choose if i could.

Very curious. Why is the # 23 special to you?
A personal thing, or something more widely known?
Yes, all of us who were able to buy the first round amp are very fortunate. Good luck to everyone in the second round!

The Law of Fives.
A reference from Robert Anton Wilson’s Illuminati Triology and some of the follow up works.
A required read. Even more pertinent in today’s world.

Curious as to what is the SMPS for this vFET. Anything like the one used in the ACA?
