My favorite efficient rehabilitation " medicine " is a look at this Simple SE Sit Amp :^D
It’s been like 2 thousand years...I mean 2 months since you dropped a pic of the front, 6l6 maybe we could see the back? You know without answering any questions of course.
My most precious is a DIY article by Mr. Pass
then start all hobby fun![]()
As soon as all the Sony VFETs are put to bed, I will start with the very
simple, and then we can get complicated from there.
By my mutable schedule, this would be end of April.

@ Mr. Nelson Pass

The last years Mr. Pass have done giant transistors matching work:
SIT-3, B1K kits, Vfets kits and for Pass Labs and much more..
All of these and other everyday activities take a lot of precious time.
Hope Mr. Pass finds nice hours too for relaxing, walks in nature and get healthy sleep.
Thanks for all efforts 🙂 Highly appreciated!

You forgot to add the very nice red wine he enjoys so much.
Looking forward to both the 'simple' and 'complicated' - thanks so much Nelson.

One of the more 'complicated' of the optional "front end" cards, is code letter D. Its circuit schematic requires three pages of ANSI-A size paper (216mm X 279mm). Thanks to the incredible storage efficiency of representing schematic diagrams using vector graphics, the Acrobat .pdf file which holds the 3 page schematic, is only 56 thousand bytes. As of today. Here's a teeny piece of page 3.

Very cool! Is the goal to design and ship all the options with the kits, or to trickle them out as you complete them?
If you're subscribed to THIS discussion thread, you probably want to also read a new discussion thread started by Nelson Pass on April 1st.

Mark, do you have any information when Nelson Pass will "publish" the schematics of the F8? I still have a pair of R100s and am "eager" to build such an amp, since the F2J is not for every loudspeaker.
I'm not Mark, but we normally have to wait 10 years after the launch of Firstwatt amps, J2 apart (still in production)

Best to ask Mr. Pass, he's not that far here at Diyaudio.
Plus, build a better speaker that suits your amp, that would be the easiest.

This might fit the bill Babelfish ᄅſ....or FW J2 on Steroids .... or Not your Father's J2!

Traditionally it’s after the amp is no longer in production. As F8 is a fairly new product, it’s going to be a while.
It's not as if you can't recreate it from the simplified schematic presented.
Begging and whimpering requires less effort.
