WTB-Scanspeak 10F 4424/8424

No, there's a cheap plastic framed version of the 10f.
Interestingly the driver you have is what I would consider as a cheap alternative to the 10f/4424G00, assuming it's a from scratch project, but I didn't mention it as this is the buy sell section and we're into serious thread jacking territory now. Also I don't have experience with it so will decline to comment. I left that comment for anyone new to the hobby who heard the 10F was great to prevent them from being mislead into thinking a cheap alternative was just the same, when they have very little performance characteristics in common.
 
He may be confusing it with an earlier plastic-framed 10f, which had the more humble cone and soft parts of a TC9.


And, of course, that infradig plastic frame.




(I was referring to the FiberGlass cone of the 10f metal-framed models when I wrote FG. The TG have a similar cone from a different source)
