I’ve built 2 SissySITs and a singing bush. One SissySIT is at my buddy’s place and I’ll get it back once I make his singing bush monos. We both have too many amps (it’s a disease?) , but the SIT bug has bitten us hard. I imagine I’ll be selling off a few amps this year... SITs are here to stay.
It’s an interesting question about how many of the first gen Sony kits got shipped vs. built. The same question likely applies to other kits and PCBs. I wonder if anyone on here has any stats, or a gut feel. I’ve spoken with Jim 6L6 about this before. Not sure if ZM has an a idea of how many of his kits get built or not.

And then I remembered that I bought a Semisouth quad for an F6 many years ago. After lying around for years they ended up in a J2 like amp that I absolutely love. (I never built the F6; I have all the parts so it is still on the to-do list, but it will be with Mosfets because I used the SS)
So, as these things will be unobtainium soon too, I ordered a quad. Who knows, they may gather dust for a few years, but they just might end up making glorious music!

Yes Seanny it is an auful hobby , almost an obsession but if it gets to bad perhaps a visit th Audio Asilum might help. But in the mean time anyone have a source for the 2sk182 not the 500w 2sk182es but the physicaly larger 1000w 2sk182 part ? Not that I realy need it but just wonder if they are available.
