Variable capacitors. They used to be useful for RF tuning. Small ones for frequency tuning and large ones for antenna matching. Nowadays frequency generation is done by silicon (mainly direct digital synthesis or software defined radios) and antenna matching is less fussy if you use transistor output devices rather than tubes.

My Ethereum/Dogecoin won't be worth much, is what I heard months/years ago.
If I had a nickel (everything I heard/read that) . . . which isn't made of nickel anymore and certainly isn't worth much, as in, don't bother to pick one up, if you see one on the ground.

You know what isn't worth much? The USD, as in, they send them to Wall street (or just about any one) by the trillions every few weeks 😱😴

The USD is literally worth less than "imaginary" "coins" and debt denominated in that (USD) currency.
