Whatever I am currently reading. I recently finished George Eliot's "Daniel Deronda", all 800+ pages read on the john over a very long time. I just started "Guns, Germs, and Steel" by Jared Diamond. I might try to give it some time in other rooms.
800+ pages read on the throne, that's a lot.
I rather enjoy short texts.
"Uncle John's bathroom reader" is a reference, my township bulletin is pretty good too.

I’m reading Christoph Schiller’s ‘Motion Mountain’ Book 1 of 5 Physics Texts. Height recommended. (free PDF download for iPad with embedded videos etc).

‘Motion Mountain’ - I thought that was a reference to what you do while on the porcelain!
My wife thinks I read serious books when I'm on the toilet, but I'm really just going through the motions.

me too, I simply can’t fathom what’s of interest in spending any time more than necessary doing what is necessary. I go when I need, not at a fixed time, waiting for the action to start.
Yeah, there's two kinds of people in this world and I live with two of the other kind. Kid uses potty time to extend his phone game time, for example.
Say, Scott - hows a porcelain plunger work in an outhouse, anyway?

Indeed, smartphones give a new twist.
To stay with book, I think, I found a best of:
Psychology in the bathroom.
