Wave guide shapes. Rounded vs chamfer?

I don’t seem to find much discussion on this. I see most wave guides being rounded over. What is the thoughts on 45 degree chamfer with mounted tweeter on the backside. Chamfer going all the way to the edge of the wood so there’s no lip.
Thinking about experimenting with different shape wave guides for an aluminum dome. The wood would be 1.5” front baffle for al drivers. But back of the second piece of 3/4” wood would be cutout for the driver to fit flush up against the front 3/4” piece. So the angle of the chamfer would just be 45degrees from bottom top top.

I think the Elsinore's tweeters wave guide is basically a 45deg with a round over to the baffle. I made a pair of front speakers for my surround system with a wave guide like this. The tweeters used had a rising response towards the top, and after trying a few holes in a test baffle, I found a shape (diameter & depth) that made the response almost perfect, so I went with that. I think the off axis was not perfect, but ok for a simple project. I still use them and they sound ok. I got good time alignment too, so it made XO work easy.
I did the round over to the baffle too, if I remember correctly, a sharp edge gave some ripple on the FR,

Just looked it up it looks like what you’d make with a 45chamfer bit. This is the tweeter I’ll be using I think. It already has a slight 45 in its own faceplate.
