OK so when on the photo below I measured the diameter of the transformer 😀 taking as a reference size of the TO-247 transistors I got about ⌀115mm I realized it must be at least 250VA. But usually 20% more should be fine.

But Papa says 3 times more for Class A that would be 300VA!? At least!
300VA for stereo as minimum
ok thanks for that, but apart from lowering the transformer temperature is anoher reason for that? Of course assumming that the transformer is capable of providing the specified power.
