AOT416 subs

Because the AOT416 has become obsolete, I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with a successful substitute. I'm not concerned with mark/model specific examples, although I would like to know the make/model that you used nonetheless.

Once I have a few examples I will evaluate and compare datasheets and do some testing.

Might be able to pick a retrofit/sub based on the circuit design.

Assuming you are trying to work on a Class-D Amp,

is it a self-oscillating design or a fixed design? self-oscillating designs are super duper picky about the outputs used, and it can change the center frequency of the oscillation, and will run in a "de-tuned" state. Not good. Assuming it starts up at all.

Fixed-frequency oscillator designs are much better and more tolerant. Then its all down specing out and matching up gate charge/capacitance, switching time, etc depending on the driver stage, frequency. You know the drill...
