I wonder why nobody makes a full range sealed 'bass king" any more. Everyone must be porting I guess.

That FA22 is too big but that pointed me to the FEA18RCZ which is getting closer. 0.5CF, f3=76. Thanks,

My search ended with the conclusion that the discontinued Alpair 10.2's were the ideal choice. If anyone knows of a pair of these drivers for sale, please let me know. Thanks,

How does it sound?
George
Actually, it sounds better than I anticipated. The bass extension went deeper that I thought was possible...the drivers are rated (marked) as only 20 Watts...& I have a 100 wpc Carver TFM-15CB amp making them sing...?? "...got to know your limitations"
Your choice of the 10.2 should work just fine...but be aware of the tricky marketing....the 10.2 is not a "six-inch" driver...it is a five-inch.
Using MA s' own technical drawings, the overall diameter is 148mm, EXCLUDING the drivers surround, the cone itself is 87.4mm.
As a point of reference, my pictured "five-inch" version is 127mm in diameter with the cone itself at 93mm.
Big aesthetic baskets & flanges do nothing but trim outright materials costs.

A10.2 has been always marketed as 5.25”. but some retialers erroneously use the basket size.

SEAS FA22 is good sealed, but not small.

I'm listening to my pair now. This morning I posted on the foam core thread describing my build.
The FEA18RCZ is also an awesome driver in the right cabinet.
