Pretty sure I found FKID and FKI for sale at digikey/mouser
Maybe 2 months ago.
Later today I will look into it.

More digging and I have found the single stage filter types easier to find than the double stage filter types.

take care is there difference for hole dimension
filtered ones are usually few mm bigger
Out of curiosity, do you know what one Pass Labs uses in the XA amps etc?

These IEC sockets with the fuse / switch are pretty expensive. Maybe my years of salvaging old electronic gear has made me lose time on how much these little bits really cost.
I prefer to have the power switch at the front and don't find it convenient to walk around the back of my hifi racks to flick the switch on. I think it's a problem when you have too much gear and require racks that power switch placement becomes an issue.

dunno
if you see them on pictures, they have it
I never checked, simply because I'm sorta avoiding filters in amps
though, I'm sure that I have it in at least one amp
@Gianluca: when ordering this, is it still possible to add customisations to the front panel like one would normally do by adding them to the cart on the webshop?
Yes sure

The non-filtered ones are cheap, don't worry.
You can always add a switch on the front panel if you like.
For my special made M2X mono block back panels I had cut outs for a normal non-filteret IEC but decided to install a filteret version (as image shows). To have it fit I needed to file the hole a bit larger. Quite fast to do.....but easier if you know up front what you want to install and can get the panel for either types.
I think the primary purpose for these filters are that noise is not coming backwards out on network from rectifiers in amp PSU (e.g. for an official EMI certification). And also not to forget.....the wiring is simpler. Only 3 wires to connect. Everything with switch, fuses etc. are connected "inside".

Having worked with large three phase PWM inverters all my life, I know what harmonics and spikes are generated by these devices and a lot of that is impressed back into the electricity grid. So, these EMI filters do a lot to stop that garbage getting into your amp chassis. Also with the large take up of roof top solar systems that are feeding back into the grid, these are also a source of pollution back into the mains grid, so anything you can do to exclude these harmonics and spikes out of your amp is good practice these days.
Of course it depends where you live as to how "clean" your electricity mains supply is.

As already indicated, the back panel is compatible with both.
