I have the Aiyima A04 green board with 32v 5A power supply. I want to buy the older black board above (with 3000uf caps). I'm just wondering if anyone was able to score one lately. I was looking at some reviews at aliexpress, and it seemed that people have been receiving the green board (even though the pictures and descriptions stated otherwise).
Did anyone successfully receive the black board from the dhgate above?

AiyimaTechnology Store says green is better.

i bought OPA1622 from China, replaced NE5532 and...... It sounds worse 🙁
Is it possible, that NE i got in my AIYIMA A04 are not fake and i get fake OPA?
I got green one AIYIMA A04 from Aliexpress. I personally hate sound of NE55XX, it was always too harsh for me but not here!

In sweden we have investigated the ne 5532 in Aiyima a04 tpa3251 and they are indeed NOT fake ones.
For better sound: - buy lm4562 or opa1656.
Im my two Aiyima a04 amplifiers I use lm4562 bought on audiophonics and the sound is slightly better than ne5532. The measurements is exactly the same though.
I have for the future a test of opa 1642 , there is some reports on the swedish forum faktiskt.io its even better in Aiyima a04.
With opa1642 the Aiyima a04 sounds exactly like hypex c400
Aiyima themselves rekommends lm4562 for better sound.

I tested OPA1642 / OPA1656 / Burson V5i / OPA1602 / NE5532 / Muse 02 / MC33272 / OPA1622 / OPA1612
My choice : OPA1656 (good bass / perfect mediums / trebles)
Then I do love OPA1612 and MC33272 (MC33272 is a bit more colored but still very good regarding the soundstage, OPA1612 is ultra analytic, great sound stage but not as good as OPA1656)
Opa1642 is too colored for me....

I suggest ypu have a look at the other thread re mods.

- the OPA power supply can be enhenced in this unit, so to evaluate the potential sonic benefits of op amps you may want to sort that first as it affects qute a bit the sound

I supply the OPA1656 Op Amps mounted on adapters to Danny who is a regular on here and probably owns every TPA32xx series amplifier that has been built !! He has just ordered another 4.
I also have a Green board Aiyima A04 and currently running with the OPA1656 having tried OPA1622 and others. I believe the original NE55xx Op Amps supplied by Aiyima are NOT fakes but I prefer the sound of the OPA1656.
I am based in the UK and could ship you some for £15 each including postage if you are in the EU.

I have genuine OPA1622, this is definitely a bad choice for the TPA3255
This OPA1622 is very flat, even bland when listening. I really do not recommend it!

What is the risk to try 2x OPA Muse 01 (single) with the AIYIMA TPA3251 ?
theoretically : 2 dual Op amps could handle 4 speakers and 2 single OP amps could handle 2 speakers.

NO dual amps are also used for RCA inputs...

For a hi -end dac dac ,it's normal.1656 is for symetrique signal....
but it's impossible to have a symetrique signal whith a single op amp...
and 1656 for symetrique...opa16111 asymetrique .

Hi Danny.
You can't replace the two dual Op-Amps with a Single Op-Amp. The pin out is different for a start and I am quite sure that both the the Op Amps are used for each channel !
