Could someone share Plinius CD-LAD preamp schematics? I have a problem with remote volume control - the potentiometer's motor works fine when connected to a DC source, the amp board gives 4,2 V to the motor when measured with the motor disconnected, but when I connect the motor to the board and press either vol up or down on the remote, the amp switches itself off for a second and then restarts.

According to an audio website where a UK guy (London ) was selling an M16 phono stage which uses the same ( or near ) remote -quote-

Yes I did try with 3 different search engines --manual-no bother -schematic - no chance --unless somebody knows better ?

Remote is not the problem, I already tinkered with it, even replaced the controller chip. It's the preamp itself, seems like some protection circuit doesn't like when the motor controller puts out current. Tried to debug with a different DC motor, same result - amp switches off for a second and restarts.
You don't get what I posted --I never said the remote is the problem but if an M16 uses the same remote then there is a good chance the remote control chip is similar to the CD-LAD .
But the poster could not get any Plinius SCHEMATICS on the web and that's what you are looking for --the logic being if you cant find a CD-LAD circuit diagram try to find an M16 but neither is available online .
The poster spoke to (and met ) an ex Plinius technician from New Zealand in London even he admitted getting circuit diagrams is not easy that's why many engineers spend time tracing a circuit out themselves if a company is not willing to supply one---reverse--engineering.
