The 15 Song Album collection:

An interesting video, but you can make anything seem more impressive if you dress it up enough; a backing string section, enormous chorus and plenty of dramatic flourishes doesn't alter the fact that the song (in any form) is ridiculously bombastic. I stand by my submission.

Kay is the one who posts LZ tracks, Plant recorded some very dodgy stuff after LZ. Even FZ's crap tracks are brilliant 🙂
Fully seconded in every case :worship:!
06 - Breakfast In America - Supertramp
(I know it’s good music, I hate it. But the doors’ the end is great)
Breakfast is no good music at all. It definitively is overrated (as almost anything from Supertramp), boring crap. Always the same la-la-la and bla-bla, nothing's really going on there 😎.
Best regards!

That depends if you are asking the late FZ or the people offended. 😀

I guess you could just let them know that broken hearts are for a**holes! 😁 One of my old bands used to throw this one in, along with Bobby Brown Goes Down, and the people in the crowd would either love it, or want to kick our butts. We also had an original that was the story of blond haired, blue eyed Jesus, driving a monster truck, drinking Old Milwaukee, eating Moon Pies, and born an American. Sometimes our warped humor flew like the Hindenburg. I miss Frank so much. Glenn.

Can someone else pick the next one?

I can't tell if people enjoy the "tough" choices that take the group a few days or would rather have a quick one. Personally, I like the ones that make me think a bit. So...

Inspired a bit re: the discussion of Heart's LZ tribute...

An album of "once in a lifetime" performances. Tracks can either be ones you wish occurred i.e. a favorite set of lyrics put to music by other musicians or actual performances you know occurred, but were never released. Maybe a guest artist showed up at a concert you attended. References / videos or personal anecdotes are always appreciated (at least I appreciate them). I've learned of some great tracks through these posts.

If videos are linked, it would be useful to use the reply function, remove the bracketed QUOTE and /QUOTE, and do minimal bit of editing to preserve links. However, that may be too much to ask. We can always read back a bit.

01 - The River - Keb' Mo' (Garth Brooks). Performed at Brooks' Gershwin Prize ceremony. If you are a supporter of PBS, you can view it here:
Gershwin Prize | Garth Brooks: Gershwin Prize | Season 2020 | Episode 1 | PBS If you're not, and would also like to see some Keb' Mo' and Brooks - this may interest you Live Sessions

I had never been a huge fan of Brooks, and Keb' Mo' wasn't really on my radar until I watched the ceremony. It gave me a new appreciation for Brooks, and I've become a big Keb' Mo' fan.

02 - War Pigs - Reef: Leeds Met. 18 March 2003. Reef opened their set with this Black Sabbath tune, no introduction, just straight into it. A damn good rendition with added poignancy. Truly chilling.

British Parliamentary approval for the invasion of Iraq was given by the elected members of the British House of Commons to Tony Blair's government on the eve of the 2003 invasion of Iraq, in a series of two votes, on 18 March 2003.

04 - Roundabout - Yes, with Ged smackin' da bass! This was special, to me, as the RRHF inducted many questionable choices long before Rush, and Yes. I believe that Chris Squire would have been elated, knowing that Ged, had him covered, and I was so glad that Trevor Rabin was on that stage with Steve Howe. Both of these bands meant so much to me, and my musical development, and Journey, as they did to countless others over the many decades of their existence. Seeing the pure joy of Ged being able to play in the place of one of his personal idols, still gives me the tingles.

Absolutely loved this and Geddy and Alex's intro/remarks for the induction and yeah; it all gave me chills.
