Beautiful Ireland
Allihies Parish, Béara Peninsula in IrelandWhere have I been in 2009?
KaffiMan, that looks to be a lovely winter view from Trollstigen. Summer view is even more stunning.
OK. Seems it's down to little old googly eyed me to give you an answer! This might be too easy. If so, I'll provide another.

'Men at Sea' is a 9-metre tall white monument of four seated males, located west of Esbjerg next to Sædding Beach on the southwest coast of Denmark.
It's a view of Ben Suilven from Loch Inver, North West coast of Scotland.I took this when I was much younger and well before the days of digital cameras. There is an almost identical image on the web...

I'm still stuck on how low Hadrian's wall is-sort of a Spinal Tap defensive structure.
I know my little terrier could jump it.
It looks like our stone walls around fields in Vermont-just a place to put the stones picked up in the way of mowing or tillage.

Actually it's just called Suilven. Fantastic views from the top on a good day...
That’s it. We took a road trip to the highlands yr before last and drive part it. Quite an imposing mountain.
You're quite correct of course gpauk - I had actually changed the spelling before seeing your correction.Actually it's just called Suilven.
I initially got the wrong spelling from the caption on the attached painting.

Hadrian’s Wall was originally six metres high. The stones were re-used for other buildings after the Romans had gone.I'm still stuck on how low Hadrian's wall is...

This is a room for improvement😉Hadrian’s Wall was originally six metres high. The stones were re-used for other buildings after the Romans had gone.
I got no guesses for a place that I have been to, as have thousands of other tourists. I thought it was one of the easiest to guess from my picture collection. Here is a couple more from the same place. My wife does not like heights, so this was her only venture onto the observation deck. It lasted about 10 seconds.

Baseball and the NFL usually confuses me. But who could not warm to Emily. A nice girl. But a bit young for me, TBH.
