If I'd like to upgrade the ELNA 1000uF 50v (of my Sansui SR-222 TT) with Mundorf MLytic caps, would it be ok replacing with a new Mundorf MLytic AG 1000uF 100V.
Is it compatible? Will it make a change on the sound?

If your pockets need emptying, go for it.
It will make no difference in the 'sound' except the sound of your wallet.

I've seen a couple of guys going for a cheaper Nichicon MUSE KZ 1000uF 50V and reselling the turntable 3 time the price but appart this, my intentions are to prevent breakage of old caps. I guess 32 year old caps won't last much longer, right?
And where did you get that idea?
There´s a lot of misinformation/misunderstanding of this concept.
Old doesn´t mean dead. Take out the cap. Measure it. If it´s dead, replace it. If it´s fine, leave it as is.
And as Jon says, one thing you can be sure of: Replacing a perfectly good Elna cap with a Mundorf ditto in a turntable will not make changes to the sound whatsoever 🙂

Do you have the mkV?
IME caps are audible in the PS of dc motors. Not to the same extent as in amps, but certainly audible. Would it be worth doing it on an entry level tt? Perhaps not.
