There is a retailer on Hi Fi.Ru selling a piece of kit that I’m interested in buying but I would like some reassurance that it is a genuine shop and not a scammer. The shop is called OldAudio and is in the Altufevsky district of Moscow. The phone number is +79255076007.
Does anyone know of this retailer or can confirm that they are genuine?

I've lost money with Paypal on internet sites. Run away giggling with my money and the goods never arrived. 😱
Not sure about the small print on Visa. It's a debit card isn't it?
Credit cards are far better as far as I know. AmEx and all that. Just pay them off every month, or they too take you to the cleaners.

It started as a Credit Card. (It also started with customer liable for all fraud; this got changed.) Today it is a brand name that other outfits (banks etc) can license for nearly any sort of card they want; their real racket is running the servers to route nearly all card payments nearly worldwide.)

second hand could mean hardly used or within a minute of demise.
i naively bought a second hand scope from a vendor for £200.
when it came it looked about 30 years old and didnt work.
sent it back twice to get fixed and it still came back faulty so got my money back.

Same here.... 4 times. Twice, the stuff didn´t arrive, one time fake shop never shipping, and one time totally different goods received and not at all, what I ordered. All the times PayPal investigated and decided in my favour.

I have always believed that it would be better for a thing to be just broken than broken and then poorly repaired several times, so much so that it would need to be restored again.🙂
... If the customer paid for the product but did not receive it, or the product received differs significantly from the description, they can open a dispute in the problem resolution Center... Paypal
I was in a similar situation once and Paypal helped me. I got my money back. You can also open a dispute and get your money back
Even back in 1980, I used to charge £30 an hour for my time. 🙂
Having lost £30 recently with The Three Belles, I do wonder if it is worth my time to chase this up.
