It is mean to look like a front-loaded horn, but the labyrinth is supposedly suppressing the back wave, correct?
Seems like a wasted opportunity to design a compact TL.

Yeah, maybe this design with damped chambers is in response to the crappy full range TL's you see on youtube that have zero damping in the line, and sound terrible.

It's yet another "kickstarter" offering by whoever, that thinks they're an entrepreneur that will make money from the public.
A tiny speaker in a cute box.
My Altec Lansing ATP3 computer speakers would put that thing to shame.

Already a thread: Anybody know about these ?
Designed (more or less) to fit some IKEA furniture. Roughly speaking a [single] tapped back-horn with an internal Helmholtz. Nothing much to see here. Not how I'd do it, though no reason why something like this can't work acceptably for the design brief, if done well.

It says: High and mid frequencies much cleaner in sound. Nothing about bass.
What bass?
A speaker the size of a baseball can't generate any bass.
Maybe "perceived", if you try hard enough.

- what do you make of this?
