Modeling MLTLs nowadays

Frankly, I've yet to see anyone's basic BR sim where they take advantage of it but me.

I know what you mean 🙂. It's a pity really, because the parameter is there for a reason. Perhaps the most accurate way to simulate a conventional bass reflex system in Hornresp is to use the offset configuration, and to set the acoustic path equal to the length of the line shown in red in the attachment.

Far from it. Martin's worksheets and George Augspuger's TLwrx are NLA, but (for example) Hornresp, the Leonard Audio TL software, Akabak and AJhorn can all model MLTLs if you wish to do so.

Is the Leonard Audio program available anywhere? I have tried several times to get a copy but have never found a download that will actually install.

I do have the MJK worksheets and Hornresp, but you can't have too many tools in the bag.
 
Unless I've misunderstood, the Leonard Audio program never quite got finished, but maybe that's incorrect. In any event if you have Martin's worksheets and MathCad, you really don't need anything else to correctly model TLs, IMO. That's what I've been using for years.

It didn't, but good enough for quickly doing basically any ['off the wall'] configuration quickly without needing to know any type of speaker design theory, so great for all levels of DIY [in] competence. 😉

Just so.

AFAIK it was mostly finished (although the damping model may not have been great); the problem is that it used an on-line based installer & with the site gone, it's a pain to work around. Possible; I've got it loaded on my PC, although I've never needed to use it as I mostly run my MJK sheets.
