As in other things related to audio - bypass capacitor, resistors... - I was very skeptical of the connectors, hence I was surprised at the improvement produced after changing the connectors in a commercial speaker of about $ 600, Klipsch RP-600M.

I can hear easily the difference between the original and the new.

What am I missing as I don’t see just how the outer barrel clamps to anything solid ?
The isolation washers seem too small with what looks like a very small contact patch to compress against the chassis.
Unless we can look at all the pieces separated, this doesn’t look reassuring..
