recomendation needed red led 20mA 1.8V

Could someone point out to me tested red led's with 1.8V voltage drop at 20mA. All the ones I have forward voltage is close to 2.0V or more at 20mA.

Yeah, but I've just got a bag of red leds with typical forward voltage of 1.8V and they all are close to 2.0V, so I thought someone knows exact component with 1.8V drop.

can i ask why such a critical value? what this being used in?


i need to increase the accuracy of my test gear for low voltage measurements as test lead resistance becomes a source of errors...at least for me.

It is for cathode bias, absolutlly not critical, but I really like to bias it with 3.7V that way I can drive preamp with full power from my dac, stay in linear reagion and prevent clipping.
