Reckhorn DSP-6 users opinions

Hi Guys

I came across this great looking device. Has anyone used it yet, what do you think?

DSP- 6 digital speaker crossover pre amp + power amp | Reckhorn

I would like a device that took the high resolution digital output from a CD\DVD\BluRay and performed all processing in the digital domain converting the outputs to analog once. Could this be it?

What else might be better?

It's quite old, maybe not even win10 compatible. Look for the minidsp range instead

The minidsp SHD is the only thing close. It has more features at 3 times the price.

My main requirement are; digital in, all processing in the digital domain, high and low pass analog outputs volume control with some gain. Three way would be nice.

miniDSP C-DSP 6x8 is the one that get closest I think.
I do think the reckhorn is really nice, but the crossover is to simple to me. You can choose slope but not topology

Yes, this one will work. It's a shame they didn't package those same features in a home version.

It can be used home as well. It does have volume etc in a wired remote. But the Reckhorn really wins on design here

The miniDSP has an internal bit rate at 48K. I emailed Reckhorn to see what theirs is.
