Hi hope that you can help me in the right direction🙂
I am looking for a great looking RCA female input to my amplifier. It would be great if it's also of high quality.
Here below have I shown a female connector that in a way fits the bill, but I think it's ugly that you can see some of the black plastic sticking out. I would like it to look more like on the amps you go out and buy in shops.
The RCA input has to be isolated from the case and solderable on pcb.

Thanks, do you have any link?
LOL I don't mind it's cheap🙂 I am just not interested in buying something that is made to look great but are made from the worst parts.

RCA is such an awful connector technology, and there's a saying "you can't polish a turd" that immediately springs to mind.
I'd use gold-plated BNC sockets and (if absolutely necessary) gold-plated RCA->BNC adaptors, if it was economic to do so.
The hot-connects-before-shield behaviour is so pre-cambrian! Why is there no sensible stereo audio connector in common usage, its clearly needed, L+R signal (each differential) and shield that connects first. Wouldn't that be nice, supports balanced if the source sends it, all simple and a single thing to plug in per source. 🙂

Another saying springs to mind: „yes you can“ 🙂
NF2C-B/2 | Neutrik
Else, I’d „No, you can’t“, I‘d opt for those:
00 and 01 coaxial series (Nim Camac) | LEMO Connectors | Push-Pull, Circular Connectors | Cables
