Please leave the toilet paper on the store shelves so that those who actually need it can get it. Coronavirus is not a GI tract illness, it's respiratory.

I saw an american tv told there is a big hot spot near NYC in a town but army is doing a good job by managing food stores, people seem to have a good behavior too. To calm down people whom panics I believe you shouldnsee that in many countries maybe till the people understand food and water in modern countries are not a problem, if some industrial food is slowed, nothing bad to stop eating junk food. I was shopping food for my old mother and saw leople make chocolate paste and ketchup stock...ahaha, it's like the toilett paper story and the illuminatis...less funny is I received sms hoax about how to fight cv 19, most dangerous cause partials or false... better to stop but send official like WHO for instance as people are doing here... thanks btw for the links, seing several from diferent countries is a great help to calm down its own panic.

And you have no idea of the number of people having back pruritus to stay polite then putt their thinger in the noise then shaking the hands of somebody who have a cut wound on the hand plus the habit to scratch their head with their nails then giving someonelse a cacke.
Is it respiratory but also contact in the sense of mucosal surfaces ? My basic understanding is mucous are mhch more fragile barriers and a virus also is travelling in the blood then grow from here ?

I'm going to make the following assumptions going forward.
a) virus will double every 7 days if left unchecked.
b) initial infection till death ~ 21 days.
Not perfect but should give us a rough guide...
Country Total cases Total deaths.
USA 2340 51
Canada 218 1

51 is 2% of 2550. This means 3 weeks ago there were 2550 infections to be able to generate 51 deaths now.
3 weeks ago 2550 infections
2 weeks ago 5100 infections
1 week ago 10,200 infections
Now...20,400 infections.

2 weeks ago 100 infections
1 week ago 200 infections

The numbers for the USA are quite upsetting. I'm worried that they're missing a lot of cases. Looks like we're missing one out of every two here but they're only catching one out of every ten in the USA. It looks like there could be an large surge in hospital admissions in a short while.

One factor could be that the US was not able to test on Corona until very recently. So a lot of cases were totally under the radar and now start to pop up.
That means also that there has been a lot of spreading going on that wasn't detected.
I've seen some numbers expecting total 1 million infections in the US, which sounds like a lot but % wise still small.

Worse case scenario government here expect 80% will get it, I'm bored of hearing about it already.

Whatever the p,ace it's good to repeat than stopping the social contacts for few weeks is the best you can do for yourself, closes, others. It will also greatly help the hospital comunity. If you are a sain driver of the virus you may x4 the propagation, so 4 people you close see for instance then it is exponential.

It will not be 1 million infections. We will see that pretty soon. Last flu season the US had 45 million estimated infections, and that’s with flu vaccines and partial immunity of the population. 100-150 million is more like it.
Levity increases with perspective here. Overblown alarm will be the undoing of the economy. Gasoline is down 30% per liter here. Should we be celebrating?
