This is Colin's Groove Master design: JFET input and ultra-low distortion AD797 op amps. Excellent full-sptectrum noise figure, headroom and RIAA precision. Kit consists of partial kit: 2 manuals (user and assembly), parts list, JFETS and circuit board. I'll include 14 .05% resistors that I bought for 7 important locations (in each channel).
Anyone interested?
Anyone interested?
I have the manuals, parts list, etc. Also the Audio Xpress article in which he wrote about his design. I can email copies. I paid him $300 for the basic kit, so I'll take at least that now. The 2007 Audio Xpress article is titled "The LP 797 Ultra-Low Distortion Phono Preamp".

No interest shown so far, so it and the .05% resistors I bought are all going into the trash.
I have 24 Peerless 830875 6 1/2" HDS Nomex mid-woofs that I have had for several years and they need a home. I'll post in the driver forum.

Yes, that's the Audio Express article he wrote. Later, he came out with the kit and called it the Groove Master phono preamp.
That is a shame, why not list it on eBay? vs throwing it out.No interest shown so far, so it and the .05% resistors I bought are all going into the trash.
I bought the lsk389B jfets in the soic-8 thinking I'd clone the design into a pre-amp that I never finished off.

rayma: thanks for the eBay tip.
Include an ebay link to the ad in this thread.
It's a partial kit: pcb, 2 JFET's and lots of documentation. I'll try to attach a photo...I clicked on Insert Image and it asked for my photo's URL. The photo is on my hard drive. Now what?
Still do not inderstand why you do not list it on eBay or very least donate it to some one who would appreciate building it rather than trash it. I guess your thinking is along the same lines as why you would buy a kit that you have no intention of building, makes no sense to me at all
