Proton AM2 issue

Hi, everyone.
Hope this is the right place to ask..
I own this nice little amp with a problem that, while playing, one, or the other channel, shut off.
I was able to trace the problem to the input connectors. With the cover off, gentle bending the back panel, the sound reprise.
Is a known issue of these units? Defected PC trace, cold solder?
Thanks in advance for any tip.

Sounds like a dry solder joint. I would remove the board with those connectors and check carefully, and I would go ahead and reflow each connector. Fairly simple job and that board looks easy to remove in one piece. Good luck!

Solder joints under repeated movement can fatigue and crack - but so can the PCB traces, so
examination with a lens is worth doing to see if any definite cracking can be seen - if a trace is cracked or the pcb itself is cracked a repair is needed. But if lucky its just the solder.
