I'm here on the forum for years, but did not post much of the results of my diy stuff and the all the things i learned by camping arround here.
Today i almost finished a big sealed 77L 18mm birch ply sub for a 10" Scanspeak 26W/8534G000 driver, ment to be used in the corner of my living room. it should give me a F3 of 42Hz and an F10 of 24Hz with a QTC of 0.695 says modelling with the measurements of the drivers i have. Bracing is done with an internal frame and the front baffle is screwed on, but with rubber seals to seal it.
I wanted it to look old so i used a antique trader trick to let new wood look old and this is the result without the driver. I'm lacking the right screws to install the driver it in (wich is painfull that i forgot those). But i already like the rough, beaten up look of the case. It's something different than most of you do, i know, but that is how i like it.
Tops will be these Mark Audio 10M Gen 3 in a 11.5L sealed masss damped lossy cabinet (last picture). All are my own design after years of studying the subject, and experimenting. And a huge part of that knowledge comes from this site, so thanks to all the posters arround here...

An update, the speakers are up and running and sounding very good, even with the crossover i build on brand published specs with spare parts i had. So not optimised at all. I'm also still running it from a solid state amp (safer to test speakers), not the Prima Luna tube amp i'll be using with it.
No measurements yet, as it's getting too late. But they will follow as i want to optimise the crossover, and without that is impossible... And i hear a deep bass when playing heavy dub, and i'm missing no sub at all. This nearly perfect for my living room. Just fix the crossover and put it better soldered in a box and i'm done with this set and can start the next one...

For that price, it's a very good one. I've used it in a huge 150L ported cabinet before and that was already very good, but tuned to low for my living room. Now in the 77L sealed cab it sounds good. I tried to measure it yesterday, but as i had set up the equipment, a heavy storm broke loose above my head and the rain and windnoise did spoil any attempt. But as a basshead, i'm not really missing any sub, and the bass is way more punchier and precise than ported. I played a lot of UK dub trough it yesterday, and it still can make my house rumble, even with a 32w tube amp...
