Hi friends
Since I'm confident that I won't give up on DIY, I need to understand such stuff.
But being a "schematics-first-grader", I'm really having difficulties on understanding the resources about how to measure/match jets (etc).
Mr Pass's article (passdiy, here) on this is very easy to read, but—schematics only, aargh! (the others just being—gradually—more complicated)
So, if a friendly One please could post a reproducible construction (a comprehensible Foto?) of one of these nifty little helpers?
I've been reading through almost every website, watching countless utubes, hoping to finally find an easy, reliable measure-thingie (perfboard) I could clone, with a manual... If there'd be a schematic, fine (climb the learning-curve)
Thanks many times!
david

I plotted "jfet matching" in search field here and got alot of similar threads, jfets behave different, I'm sure you'll find some interesting stuff, I did.
Here's a link to YouTube with jfet basics

Thank you, amplitude!
Yes, I saw (and read) a lot of them. It's the smoking head phenomenon, and I try to find a post / image that "says everything" (which isn't possible, I know).
Just the illustration of what a schematic looks like in real life...
But... I probably have to put a few projects at risk myself

Nobody is going to do the basics for you.
Hi PRR
Thanks, I know.
I actually wasn't asking to "get fed", I was actually asking for a different/simpler way to look at things so that I can do it myself.
Sometimes I just don't see it because I don't know how to look...
(I seem to be still in the stage of seeing through touching, haha—another way of saying 'kindergarten', maybe?)

- Matching jfets for beginners? (for the schematics-analphabet)
