Hi Guys, Im trying to build a pair of curved Anthology speakers. There is a guy on one of the other forums that made a sketchup file for people to use years ago. My friend has a cnc router he purchased several years ago has has built a handful of items with it using fusion360. When we tried to use the file the computer would run crazy slow. It seems the curves are spline lines and we have to change it to arched lines? It seams that we are over our head and a google search is just confusing with no easy answer. Any help would be great. Here is a link to the file. I'm only trying to make the braces.

I'll take a stab at it with Rhino 3D. I've had success before in using Rhino as a "converter" between formats... will report back.

Thank you so much for trying! That would be super awesome. I circled the pieces that I need from the file since it was for a statement II build and I’m doing a anthology build.

I see the issue you have. The DXF are really a mess of small lines instead of circles and arcs. I have a Filou NC12 that can clean up messy DXF and Vectric Vcarve pro that can in some cases successfully replace circles and arcs instead of such mess, but none of these can make a good output out of this.

Best I can see is to try to use this Sketchup plugin to export STL and the import that to Fusion360 and just draw new lines, arcs and circles using the STL model as a reference. That's the only way I can think of to get this cleaned up well.
I tried and F360 imports the STL output from the plugin ok

Ok thank you for the info and your time. I’ll see if this makes sense to my friend.
