Hi,
this amp is a Vox AV15, and has one 12AX7 in it.

Whenever i run another amp with it through any type of splitter, it makes this high-pitched noise:

This happens with any other amp, anywhere in my effects chain. it also happens when connecting this Vox amp to an audio interface. it seems to be anything with it's own power source somewhere in the chain causes this Vox amp to hum.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks
Ziggy

Hum is low frequency noise due to 'ground loop' problem caused by connecting several gear together creating an unwanted loop to the mains.
Your splitter must have isolated outputs (galvanic isolation via transformers) to solve the issue.
High pitched noise is high frequency oscillation due to too much gain in the chain. Either limit the gain or try at least turn down the treble in one or more devices.

Well, when testing this I had absolutely no gain at all, so I don't know about the high frequency part, but I will look into splitters like the Fulltone and Radial Bigshot, thanks.
