I have a few of these left over from a few trials to find and alternative to the over priced rings on eBay.
5mm OD, so nice and chunky!
I'm very happy with them and thought I'd offer them out
Been in my system for about 3 weeks now and show no sign of stress or strain.
Used on PCC88 and ECC83 Valves.
£1 each, posted in the UK. So, almost free!

If a tube is highly microphonic, the rings could possibly help. I doubt if they do much on tubes that aren't.
That's pretty much the gist of the idea.
My valves are a bit microphonic, and they have helped. I'm very pleased with them in that respect.
