Hi,
i will try to re-build old driver module on very old Rockford fosgate Power 100HD broken.
i have found one SOT23 smd maybe transistor, with marking not clear. for you, what is this marking (picture) 8AC or only AC? 😕
thanks a lot 🙂

Is there another component on the board with the same mark?
Do you believe that it's defective?
Hi Perry, yes two same component (picture)
The problem is electrolitic capacitor KO and one module phisically broken 🙁

I think it's a diode because only two terminals appear to be used. I have photos of a driver board from a punch 30 and the module has a circuit with components marked 8A K. 8A is likely the significant part of the mark.

Yes is true, 3rd pin don't is connected. Thanks Perry
I just remembered. The older amps after this used a 1N5226 on the output of the op-amp. They sometimes shorted. See attached for the P45 diagram.
yes, is the same situation, is present on LM833 pin1 and pin7. perfect 🙂
the others transistors are marking 1G and 2G, i think are FMMTA06 and FMMTA56 (NPN and PNP), right?
i have also other components to identify.. one is C5C marking (picture), i have found dual diode CMPD7000, can you confirm?
I don't know.
I don't know how much you've worked with these old boards but from my experience, if something is not absolutely defective, you don't do anything with it. The act of soldering on these can make them unusable without a LOT of work.

i will try to re-build this board (print new board) with a new parts...I don't know.
