Inevitable? Ah well, happened to me too so I guess those that experienced it are somewhat cynical.
I meant inevitable in the sense that making your bride stand up to her knees in cold water on her wedding day is likely to get you into deep water in the future!

Enjoyed my time being married.
A bit of a shock getting divorced, big changes.
But happy now on my own, just keep busy with work and hobbies.
Its nice to be able to complete a project without being whined at for attention.
My wife keeps whining at me to start a new project so she can get me out from under her feet! 😉
I happened to look on the US market some years ago. Near all "steel toe" boots are plastic toe. Apparently this reduces hassle going through metal detectors in airports and courtrooms. (Why you'd want steel-toe to fly or sue, I do not know.) And of course it may offer less knife-action than steel.
