Hi there are two Naim Nac 42.5 clone kits that I am aware of and I have them both they sound very good I am currently listening to the model you have linked to with a Nap 140 clone power amplifier as part of a comparison I am doing with my Naim Nap 140 and Naim Nac 42.
Thank you for your answer, i ordered the kit & i am going to solder very high quality 1% resistors & top quality capacitors that i have aside. I think it will be a good preamp to work with. I also found some good advice from the internet about how to improve a naim preamp & which parts to use on particular places on the board , such as input caps etc..
