I see now that B500 protect is different from other schematics.... I will use PA Protect from H900 design for my protection. Just have to build separate bridge rectifier and Cap filters and soft start.... no problem....PSU7 would have been nice since all is on one PCB....

Thanks for the swift response... as Kandimba pointed out...B500 and B500P protect differs. I will use PA Protect from H900 thread as you suggested before.

I just gone went through the the whole thread and got quite a interested in making this amplifier. I have an 80-0-80vac 1600va transformer and I would like to make b500 TEF or b600 TEF stereo at 4ohms for PA use. what upgrades or changes can I make on the following?
>number of pairs of outputs per channel
>r24 and r25 in the case of b500
>bias circuit (r23 r24 and q5)
>any other upgrades if any.

My B500 progress slowly...to much work at the moment...both channels up and running...busy with PSU and protect PCB...will post pics soon....
