As for 16, she was guilty of hotting herself up a lot by her dress or (lack of dress) sense. But these young female singers do that to increase attention.

A situation that would apply to most of us here, but as the father of a nubile naïf now fully matured, I’d suggest a bit more circumspection over publicly proclaimed predilection for such confections could serve us all well in the current #(fill in your own blanks) environment . Their teen years can be tough for a lot of reasons.
