SSIT
Got a great gift from pras1170 the other day ( keraterm, screws, etc to mount the monster SITs). I got the SITs, some edcors, as I bought two pairs when I ordered for my M2 build, and got a package en-route from Serbia from the main man ZM. So I have everything for a SissySIT build
I was thinking of temporarily using my current M2 chassis ( steel 4U/400) and powersupply. As the powersupply caps are quite large there is limited space. Will the Sissy pcbs get enough support from a single row of screws and spacers as I need to mount them flat against the sinks? There is no space for a T- profile mount.
If the SITs are as good as rumor makes them I will probably invest in 2 cases at a later date and make individual monoblocks. All my tube poweramps are monoblocks.
It will be exiting to hear what the SITs have to offer. I have now used the M2 extensively and am beginning to really enjoy the M2 sound. Even youtube videos sound great through the M2s and my Altecs.

can´t read my feelings, i´m sitting quite calm on my F6 Jensens planning to use for the sissies, but slowly hysteric activities appear at the fringes.
issit that the Edcors won the Pass listening tests? Maybe i solder the Jensens with extra pins on the PCB, making it easier to change later?
still calm, guess sound signature does unfold even with Jensens....

Anyway no sign of Cinemag arriving soon - Cinemag said they will manufacture in few weeks ?
thanks
kannan
I'm still waiting for the invoice.
It will arrive comfortably for the new year at this speed.
Great!no , Bubba
Moi typing while eating , with eyes almost shut ....
heatsink (hole M3 tapped)-keratherm-mosfet (pins bent up)-pcb-big washer-springy washer-Stainless steel M3 Allen head bolt
dang it/tighten , then solder pins
easypeasy
Regarding which Cinemags Papa actually chose for his FW amps, there is precious little in the way of first hand info. One clue is the BAF talk where he says they are "about 25 bucks", which corresponds with the retail price of the LPCs.
Probably the difference is minimal, and it could even be that the LPC is preferred by some.
Wonder how much it would be to cryo-treat the whole populated PCB along with the SITs...?
