Little Push Pull PA only

Hi there.
A brief text to explain what I want to build, and what I have in my hands to turn scratch into reality:
I have a band, I usually produce our demos, and we're on the road of a selfproduced 1st album. I know drums are going to be recorded in a studio, due space and acoustization matters, but that's all. We've no money to spend more than that. So... Guitars and basses are gonna be recorded in our/my homestudio. What I really need to bring tracks to life is some kind of tool to reamp those lifeless tracks.

So, I was thinking about a little PA, PP, with a pair of 6BZ6, 6AU6, or 6CB6. I have plenty of them, brand new or burnt out for even testing purposes. I believe, with a pair of them, I could get 3-4W, ideal power to crank the hell up the master.

In next messages I'll be putting schemes and finished product, so if you are interested in this project to make a copy, stay tuned!

Any valve circuit will do that if clipped and bandwidth limited. Do read the "clipping circuits" and "battery powered princeton" threads here. And Rob Robinette's Amp Stuff.

But you're now into "second transducers" so you need to find and read/listen to "Slipperman's Recording Distorted Guitars From Hell"

There's several hours of your life you'll never get back but it's bloody funny and essential listening for a budding AE. Which you now are.

I'll dig into that info.
I have spent years (literally, YEARS, I have 32yo, and have been trying to do this from at least 16-17yo) searching for a decent captured track, and for now, I have found it in no too many ways of recording. I mean, what I can get right now is pretty decent to me until a few days back, when I saw a couple of videos about reamping guitar tracks, and found that I have to take a jump to the next level. Reamping is that next step further, and that's what I'm gonna do.

Anyway, I'll dig into that info.

Thanks to both of you!
