Hello All,
I am looking for replacement/alternatives to BJT's : 2SA 1295 PNP; & 2SC 3264 NPN,
These are needed for a 120Watt/8R power amplifier and were originally recommended by Mr D. Self in one of his power amplifier designs. However, those particular types are no longer in production and there seems to be no direct equivalents.
If anyone can point me at suitable, currently available alternatives, I would be most grateful.
I can make a selection from the data sheets, hopefully a good choice, but the experience of those who have gone before is always invaluable ....

B&D Enterprises in the US also have the original Sanken's in stock at $7.81 USD each.
Profusion don't have the original Sanken's any more in MT200 package.

Anyway the Sanken MT200s are discontinued.
I keep a stock of the 2SC2922 and 2SA1216.
Some bright spark (os12300) mentioned that you can use the 2SC5200/2SA1943 in their place. They are mechanically different and the MT200 has a different SOA.
We can ship you some transistors but your cost in Rand will be high.

I keep a stock of the 2SC2922 and 2SA1216.

We can ship you some transistors but your cost in Rand will be high.

Possible solution if you really want to work, just that, work!
Well indeed, these have a different SOA, but I can tell you that there are countries where we can get components of this type, but not from others, as an engineer I am willing to make modifications to the amplifiers that I am trying to repair, I have done it and although But for many it is inappropriate, for people who want to solve problems it is enough, I have some experience in this and I have been able to solve some problems of this type, I think there is no point in crossing my arms and thinking about possible solutions, when I know that from this is not the right moment, I offer a possible solution based on what I have learned.
There are even others like the MJL21193 and MJL21194.
