SK LITE does not consider controlling the external switch. So only upgrade firmware should not be able to implement this function.
@rotr
DHL is much faster than Post. By the way, your address of PayPal is Pilsen, and the Post and DHL only confirm the PLZEN. :)

The core firmware of SK and Lite is the same. The power switch signal requires a set of standby power supply. Just modifying the firmware can't be done.

I tried to understand all what was written so far but still it have several questions (some might be lamer type: )) as I am any expert...
1. Is there any possibility to use R-Core transformers instead of Talema? Will they fit?
2. I am going to connect thinker board by Asus as alternative to RPI3. Is there any instruction how to connect it to your board? Eventually how to connect RPI3? Can be existing power supply used for this purpose or I need to add additional? Perhaps you have RPI / Asus interface done? I guess I am not the only one interested in it
3.I can see XLR outputs - does it mean they are really balanced? and if yes to have it balanced which Soekris I should buy sam1021 or 1121?
4. Assuming I will connect this thinker board will it be displayed in LCD? If yes where on this board is place to install switch for it? will remote control work with such switching?
5. Case/box. I can see schematics, drawings but perhaps you have easy way how to obtain such box? I prefer to order it in one place not in many than assemble it.
Thank you

1、No problem. You can cut the transformer part of the PCB.
2、I2S connections are generally used.
3、No really balance as dam1021.
4、The display screen cannot be replaced to LCD. The resolution and the interface are different.
All these have been discussed before.
5、The chassis is really a problem. I can't solve it now. The sample has been processed for 4 months and has not been done yet.

Regarding pt.4 I rather wanted to know is there possibility to connect Amanero card and Asus Tinker (trough I2S) and switch them somehow to finally have them separately displayed in original display. As i.e. source 1 source2
Thank you
I am currently developing a dac audio server based on the audizen kit
I machined with my cnc the back panel for embedding the plugs here is a sample of the result the file is made on autocad

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
Hi all, I got all the boards/transformers and am ready to assemble.
I found some old articles(yr 2015) about modding the 1021 with 16 small capacitors.
1. Is it still valid to do so with my latest version of 1021 board? I found only 12 pairs of holes now.
2. Can I still connect to a headphone jack on the board?
Thanks!

PLS share the details of your idea. Which type of server do you mean?streamer+dac+storage or something else?I am currently developing a dac audio server based on the audizen kit

BTW could you also share file you used to drill the holes on CNC. Thank you
Finally looking at my kit. I don't have any XLR male connectors - just one XLR female, and three RCA females. The RCAs have bent legs, but I can bend them back.
What P/N is correct for the XLR male connectors? Neutrik NC3MAH?

Seems like I can't edit the above post.
For posterity, I just recalled that there were some in the Soekris dam1021 box, which is clearly why you didn't include them in your kit!

For posterity - I remembered that the Soekris dam1021 kit included two of those XLR male connectors, which is clearly why you didn't include them in yours!

😀 You got the key.😀
I've noticed that the volume at startup is briefly 0dB and changes to the previous setting after a second or two. Is this a 'feature' of the dam1021, or of your FW running on the ST MCU?
Can I do anything to fix that? I'd much rather that it booted "mute" or at -90dB or something, then changed to the previous setting.
