Celestion ditton 44, 25, 66 value with SEAS replacement tweeters

I am looking for opinions on the following subject:

I have 44's 25's and 66 Dittons, but I am one hf2000 tweeter short. For collect ability, how much does having a set of replacement tweeters affect $value and the sale ability.

All speakers sets will be restored with refinished cabinets and capacitors. I will listen to them then sell them for the next person to enjoy. It is my hobby. I am struggling with should I wait to find another HF2000 or just get a set of the SEAS replacements.

Prices on these models seems to be steadily climbing.

I am thinking if I go the SEAS route it would be for the 44's

Thanks

I've just gone the SEAS tweeter route on my Ditton 25's.
To my the ear the HF2000 is brighter. Maybe it's early days.
Anyway, I've got one working HF2000 which doesn't look brilliant because the plastic dome is dented and the metal diffuser has fallen off though I've still got it.
The other one looks fine but doesn't work.
I'm open to offers.

Okay lets work something out for the pair. you can PM or paulking at shaw.ca would be better.

I have a pair of rather broken Celestion Ditton 44. The 100mm HF2000 tweeters had only one metal dispersion plate between the two of them, but not a biggie. We always used to get rid of phase plates and the like back in the day.

Quite a good speaker. Bit of breakup from the 5" mid, but quite the big sound.

But really, a 3/4" mylar plastic dome is part of the sound. Change it at your peril, IMO. FWIW, Mylar is always slightly bright around 7kHz. You can still buy similar designs: Peerless by Tymphany D19TD-05 3/4" Poly Dome Tweeter

Tweeters are tweeters, IMO. All reasonably flat. But the SEAS 19TFF fabric dome is a very different animal IMO.
