The 1N4148's are back to back to the zeners. The upper one switches the zener off during the negative half of the Signal, and vice versa. If they weren't in place, the driving voltage swings were limited by the zeners' forward voltages.

Yes, you are right, I was wrong, the 1N4148's do have a purpose.

While sonal doesn't upload the official pcb layout, pdf version, for NX-12, I made a draft using some image processing software.

Hi Stewin, Mr Mile would say its a hi-fi amp.
I have seen your builds and you seem have a zest for DIY builds.
You could try this amp and see if you are satisfied with SQ.

Otherwise, I suggest you to build FX-8, a very good amp.
