The red wire goes to the dual banana plug hot side. The other lead goes to the GND side that is usually identified by a plastic tag. The foil shield does not have a drain lead so it does not get connected to anything.
This cable in your lengths should not provide any problems for virtually any amplifier.

What good is the shield then? Unless it acts as an aerial for added sparkle
Increases the capacitance decreases the inductance and may lower the RF characteristic impedance, but in those lengths not by much.
What do you expect from a cable? It conducts electricity from the amplifier to the loudspeaker. In short lengths of decent gauge cable with stable ampliers not much different happens. Now with amplifiers that are not stable the cable may improve stability for some and reduce it for others. In those cases it may make a big difference. For what it is worth on long runs I use shielded cable without the drain wire terminated. At the lengths used the termination wouldn't do much anyway.
Thanks Simon , i understand how to wire speakers etc. but having never used this type of cable before i wasn't sure what to do with the conductors as i mentioned before .. do i remove a centimetre or so of the core that the wire is braided around then twist the cable ends as you would for a standard design and screw the plugs on or just leave the braid and core as is after stripping outer insulation and attach the plugs.
The ' danger' from this type of cable is apparently from the possibility of oscillation caused by increased capacitance and can destroy the amp in extreme cases.
I think the foil works in the same way baking foil hats prevent aliens taking control of your mind Scott 🙂

Forgot to say thanks to Yatsushiro for posting the picture , thanks.
No problem. Like you, I bought 10m, but I have it in use (a 2m pair). I stripped the wrap, fillers and foil back approx 100mm each end, then stripped the HDPE cover from the braid sufficient to be clamped in the banana plug, with the core in place.
Linking my TPA3250 amp to a pair of Q Acoustics 2050i speakers, it sounds better than my previous plain 2.5mm2 cables. At £1.99/m, it was a risk I was prepared to take...
Thanks , i might give it a go then although to be honest i can't see it being any better than the Van Damme 2.5 mm i'm using at the moment but given that due to room restrictions about 60% of my speaker cable runs parallel to mains cords there could possibly be some difference.

When you guys say connect the shield to the amp ground exactly
which part of the cable are you talking about?
There's an overall foil shield, and there should be a bare drain wire in contact
with the foil for the entire length. You would ground the drain wire.

Don't forget to swing a live chicken over your head THREE times while walking backwards and chanting "OHM----OHM----OHM" forty times BEFORE you install this enchanted speaker cable!!!!

This thread was started with a simple question regarding how to connect banana plugs to the cable and NOT one of those ' this cable is superior /best / better than ' statements .
As stated it was purchased partly out of curiosity and seemingly good value nothing more.
No-one who has posted is claiming that the cable does wonderous things ( except the manufacturer maybe 🙂 ) .
It's always the same with cable threads , most soon go downhill rapidly turning into heated exchanges i was hoping this wouldn't happen but it would seem inevitable, regardless my original question has been answered so maybe the mods should lock the thread before things degenerate ?

Sorry only just saw your post, thanks for clarifying .
snake oil, anyone?
Well, here we go:
Connect the shield of the speaker cable to mass of the power plug.
Additionally, use the speaker cable in the right direction.
If printed on it, arrow in the right direction.
If not printed, the direction of the printed font.
Best regards!
