Microphone Hiss on DIY Kit

Hello guys!

I started getting into building DIY and ventured into building a S-87 (condenser) from Microphone parts.

The microphone is getting good signal and all, but it's hissy! It's supposed to have a super low self-noise.

Interestingly, though, when I turn on the 48v on my preamp, during the first few seconds it's beautiful with no hiss at all and super clear but once the 48v seem to " hit" it gets pretty hissy 🙁.

Any advice? What components should I check out and see if they're properly working or properly soldered?

Thank you!

Hope to spend a lot of time here in the future 🙂
