How can i DSP individual channel with PC software to improve linearity in Frequency Response?
By implementing a frequency response correction in that DSP?
But tell me which are software are there from which i can implement?By implementing a frequency response correction in that DSP?

Ecasound
The title mentions Windows. I was not aware that ecasound could run and process audio input and output under Windows...Jriver

@dipankar862: I suggest that you look into a program called "SXQ". It can do DSP filtering under Windows. There is a thread about it in this forum somewhere, but there is also a web site:
SXQ XO and EQ
This might be just what you are looking for.

FabFilter Pro-Q 2 - Equalizer Plug-In
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
This seems more like an EQ unit than something that is intended for doing multi-way, multi-channel crossovers... Do you use it as a crossover?

Yep! Up to 96dB/oct, variable Q, FIR or IIR, unlimited number of channels...etc. Very intuitive and powerful interface. I use two modules per channel ( mono L and R ) so a possibility of 144 filters and EQ bands for a 3 way system. The best VST for EQ and filtering IMO.
Tutorial?
Would you be willing to post a tutorial of how you set this up? I'd be especially interested if you could detail the following:
-signal path: (PC --> ??)
-settings for using FIR filters, including how you generated them
-importing measured frequency responses, including what software you used

Hi Tomahack,
Can it do all-pass filter too?

This is my personal setup:
Lynx AES16e PCIe card connected to a Lynx Aurora 8 converter. Signal routing is controlled via IL Minihost modular (free).
https://www.image-line.com/support/FLHelp/html/plugins/Minihost Modular.htm
I configured a 3 way mono setup inside Minihost. You can add plugins and routed them in series or parallel , control levels, and configure inputs and outputs. I then make measurements for all channels left and right independently with Room EQ Wizard and add EQ's accordingly.
Sorry about my English which is not my main language. This is my setup in MiniHost.

No but you certainly can add a plugin inside IL Modular to handle that task.
Good thread. I use EqualizerAPO with peace UI for my PC.
The output is iConnectAudio2+ soundcard. Works extremely well, but was quite difficult to setup with my small brain.

very interesting. the lynx card is very goodThis is my personal setup:

do jon bocani also use this setup for minidsp transport
Regarding APO audio prosessing in windows.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/equalizerapo/
So APO kicks in as soon at the driver initialises the soundcard!!!!
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/audio/audio-processing-object-architecture
Microsoft has done work to lower latency in W10
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/audio/low-latency-audio
APO can even be moved to hardware, but new prosessors handle normal filters with ease:

Hi,
Easy. Bodzio Software

Here is a plug for JRMC (J River) which among every other known function in the audio-video universe 😀 can do active crossover duty. I have this working ok for about a year. My only complaints are (1) limited (i.e. "no") choice of x-over types and (2) I have not been able to run external input (REW) via thre x-over so can't test my set-up very well 🙁
This tutorial uses Acourate to design and generate FIR filters for a 3-way speaker system: https://www.computeraudiophile.com/...e-Alignment-Driver-Linearization-Walkthrough/
One can:
- design a multiway digital XO using various filter types and slopes
- linearize each individual driver
- time align the drivers
- apply frequency and excess phase correction for the system at the LP.
Other than the digital XO, each additional step can be applied optionally.
Note Acourate is commercial software.
Hope that helps.
