For SE input connection, can I combine the Ground and negative on amp side? So that both Ground and Neg wires are soldered to the Ground RCA plug?

That's the way I did mine when I used SE. It worked with no issues.
To all of you (i know it must be at least 1/3 )who experience 6db drop in one channel with balanced setup:
Pull out the flatcable and push it in again firmly
or
Change to a new cable
or
If that dont work, cut of the flat connector and solder the wire
or
Buy Hypex
The reason for the problem is very bad quality on the connector/connection
I know at least FIVE cases in Norway with this problem!
I have used a lot of effort to investigate this myself and didnt get any help from the dealer: Strassacker: Speaker Building, Components
